Made from 5-15 year old vines grown on sandy clay-and-limestone with some loam, this wine is

produced at 60 hectolitres per hectare.

Deep ruby red with a flush of pinkish violet.

Very rich, mouthwatering aromas of dark berry fruit, plum and violet.

Supple yet full of substance in the mouth, its tannin ample but already well-rounded, the wine finishes with an amazing burst of liquorice.

Can keep for 1-5 years.

Drink while still fruity, or when its floral or spicey character has developed.
